About

I am a bridal stylist from the Hunter Valley NSW, providing wedding hair styling and make up services around the Newcastle, Maitland, Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Port Stephens areas.
My passion, love and dedication as a bridal specialist has grown over the past 20 years whilst putting my heart and soul into my work.
You speak to me; I help you with all your concerns and I share your day with you and your bridal party.

Services

My services include mobile, on site styling and preparation within the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Port Stephens and Central Coast areas. From the initial consolation, up until the big day; I provide my bridal clients with the advice and recommendations so they gain the confidence that their day runs on time and as smoothly as possible. I pride myself on delivering quality work, guaranteeing the end result is perfect whilst maintaining a relaxed and calm atmosphere.

All imagery displayed in my portfolio is my work; weather it’s classic, relaxed, textured or bohemian. You talk directly with me, I answer your concerns and I arrive to share your day with you.

If you require professional makeup services for your wedding day, I offer inclusive hair and makeup packages with both myself or my preferred makeup artist.

Depending on the size of your bridal party and your ceremony details we can allocate additional stylists on the day.

I can provide hair extensions both tape and clip in adding additional volume and length to your desired wedding style. Additional cost of $40 pp for preparation and application of hair extensions. My recommendation for most bridal up style work; is to secure your style with padding.

This can be purchased from my bridal kit at your trial and on the day for additional guests.

BRIDAL HAIR TRIALS

Hair and Makeup Trials are recommended 6-8 weeks before your wedding day. This ensures that we are both completely satisfied with the result and what we have discussed suits you and your style of wedding.

This will help you get maximum results and ensure you LOVE your trial.

Hair and makeup trials are by appointment and are held at my studio in Chisholm.

If you are booking both Hair and Makeup, I will try my best to accommodate the two together at my studio, for your convenience.

Bridal trials give us a chance to meet in person after all the texts, phones call and emails.

This ensures that your day is relaxed and your mind is at ease.

Hair and Makeup trials are recommended 6-8 weeks before your wedding day. This ensures that we are both completely satisfied and that the wedding day runs smooth, stress-free and on schedule. Upon securing your date, you will be given a Trial Preparation Sheet to follow. This will help you get maximum results and ensure you love your trial.

The prices displayed are to be used as a guide only. More information may be required to provide you with a customised quote pending size of booking, time of year and also mid-week bookings.

Terms and Conditions

I encourage you to read the following terms and conditions itemised below. Upon confirming your booking via deposit, we agree and are bound by these terms and conditions. This ensures all questions and concerns have been answered and agreed upon and provides the guidelines of payment and procedures of the day.

BOOKING PROCEDURE

The booking fee of $200.00 paid to Brooke Boughton Hair & Makeup Artistry is strictly non-refundable or non-transferable.
Dates will not be held without a booking fee paid.
Additional hair and makeup services may be added to your original quote, but not removed from your original booking and quote.
To fulfil a group/wedding booking a minimum call out fee of $400 will apply, not including travel fees or pre-wedding trials.
A final signature will be requested at your trial appointment to confirm you have read and understood the terms and conditions of your bridal booking

PAYMENTS

Final payment is due one month prior to the wedding date.
No reductions are permitted to be made to the numbers for services provided by Brooke Boughton Hair & Makeup Artistry after the final payment has been made or one month prior to the wedding.

PRICING

All pricing is subject to change. Unless a booking fee/deposit has been paid to secure prices as quoted.
Travel fees will be applied depending on location of wedding. If the location varies to the original quotation, Brooke Boughton Hair & Makeup Artistry has the right to amend the fee to reflect the new location.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

The booking fee will only be refunded in the unlikely event that Brooke Boughton Hair & Makeup Artistry is no longer able to fulfil the booking. This excludes inability to provide the service due to government bans/restrictions or due to ‘acts of God’ outside of my control.
Brooke Boughton Hair and Makeup Artistry does not offer refunds for any completed services; therefore, if you are in any way dissatisfied, it is the responsibility of the client to notify the artist whilst on location.
Should you cancel your booking, the booking fee will not be refunded under any circumstance, including in the event of an ‘act of God’ outside of you (the clients) control.
To cancel a booking with Brooke Boughton Hair & Makeup Artistry written notification must be provided via email. Any money (if applicable) will be returned within 30 days to the clients nominated bank account.
If a booking is cancelled three-months (12 weeks) before the date of service any monies paid to Brooke Boughton Hair & Makeup Artistry will not be refunded including the booking fee and final payment.

TIMINGS

Brooke Boughton Hair and Makeup Artistry requires 45-60 minutes per person per service.
Less time may be required for the completion of makeup and styling on mothers and junior bridesmaids if requiring minimal makeup and not including the application of false lashes.

TRIALS

A standard pre-wedding trial for one person is 3 hours that is the equivalent of producing one makeup look with minimal changes and one hair look.
Pre-wedding trials do not guarantee or secure services for your wedding date. Brooke Boughton Hair & Makeup Artistry needs to confirm availability and a non-refundable booking fee paid by the client to secure the date.

SERVICE & OFFICE HOURS

Usual service hours are by appointment 7 days a week 7:30am-4:00pm
Office hours are Monday to Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm
Any booking that requires Brooke Boughton Hair & Makeup Artistry to start outside these hours will be subject to a once only fee of $100.
It is the client’s responsibility to advise on any known allergies to makeup or hair products before commencing makeup application, as well as (but not limited to) contagious conditions such as cold sores, conjunctivitis and gastro.
No liability will be taken if this information has failed to be disclosed prior to the commencement of the service.
No liability will be taken for claims arising from allergic reactions to makeup products used.
Due to the health and safety of stylists, we will refuse services if a client presents with an illness or contagious symptoms.
